A Five Year Advanced Islamic Studies Aalim Program
The Aalamiyyah Program at AMAL Institute aims to guide students on a transformative journey through the sacred Islamic sciences, strengthening their bond with Allah ﷻ and building a balanced foundation in faith, character, and knowledge. This five-year curriculum, developed in partnership with the Michigan Islamic Institute, offers in-depth studies in core subjects such as Arabic, Quran, Hadith, Tafsir, Seerah, and Fiqh, with the goal of fostering a deep understanding of both the practical and spiritual dimensions of Islam. Graduates will be equipped to serve as community leaders, scholars, educators, and activists, committed to the values of deen and the well-being of their communities. The program emphasizes not only academic excellence but also the development of moral character, guided by teachers with extensive global training and experience, preparing students for both scholarly and leadership roles in the Muslim community.

- 1st & 2nd year – Foundational Studies.
- Quranic Arabic – Classical Arabic, Grammar and Morphology.
- Tadabbur, Translation,Tajweed and Memorization of Quran.
- Introduction to Hadith, Fiqh and Seerah.
- Quranic Study – Quran Memorization and Cover to Cover Translation.
- 3rd to 5th Year – Advanced Islamic Study.
- Intro to Usul al-Hadith and Hadith.
- Aqeedah, Fiqh and Different Schools of Thought.
- Intro to Usul al-Fiqh, Classical & Contemporary Fiqh.
- Intro to Seerah, Islamic Civilization, History and Tazkiyah.
- Advanced Study of Quran and Selected Surahs of Tafseer.
- Advanced Study of Hadith and Selected Books and Chapters.
Admission requirements
- 13+ years male only.
- Proficiency in Reading the Qur’an. (must pass a test)
- Successful Interview with the Student.
- Commitment to the Rigorous Study Regime.
- Complete Admission Application.
- Must be enrolled in academics. (Online schooling or College/University)
Discipline Requirements
- Maintain Attendance and Punctuality.
- Respect for Teachers, Students and Peers.
- Self Interest by the Student.
- Maintain Progress and Pass Examinations.
- Zero Tolerance of Physical & Verbal Abuse (both by Students and Teachers)
- No Phone/device Policy during Class Times.
Daily Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday, 8:00AM to 2:00PM
- Friday, 8:00AM to 12:00PM
Yearly Calendar:
- We will be following the Islamic Calendar. Starting from the 1st week of Shawwal after Ramadan.
- Holidays Calendar:
- Fort Bend Academic Calendar.
- All Islamic Holidays.
Fee Structure:
- $300.00 per month per student.
- $150.00 for academics.
- $50.00 Admission fee.
